Financial assistance is a huge part of achieving my goals, and I am sincerely grateful for all of the support I received on my way to winning gold at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. If you would like to join the organizations below as I continue on my journey of reaching athletic potential, please contact me via Chris Dornan, Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton Public Relations, 281.703.4394, hpprchris@comcast.net.

APM Construction - Primary Sponsor
APM is one of Atlantic Canada’s largest construction and design-build companies. Founded on Prince Edward Island by Tim Banks in 1980, APM now operates throughout Canada with offices in Charlottetown, Halifax, Toronto, and Calgary.

APM were one of my first sponsors during my first year on the World Cup Bobsleigh circuit and returned as a sponsor for 2008-2009 and 2009-2010. I am thrilled to have had such a successful PEI company as my primary sponsor leading up to the 2010 Olympics.
RONA Growing With Our Athletes program
“While our obvious role is to help our athletes make it to the podium in 2010, it goes much farther than that in fact. RONA’s mission on this Olympic adventure – to put it simply – is to light the flame and help keep the passion burning. In other words, it’s up to us to spark excitement with our customers, and all Canadians, and get them fired up about the upcoming Olympic Games. To make this happen, we will fuel people’s enthusiasm by helping our finest athletes make their greatest dreams come true. Last but not least, we will light the flame of pride and unity that will shine brightly long after the Olympic Games have gone. This adventure is a great opportunity to celebrate our national pride by building a true Olympic spirit in Canada from coast to coast.”

Special Thanks
I’d like to send out a special thanks to everyone who has made (and is continuing to make) this journey a very real and wonderful one. I would not have become the person or the athlete I am without the unwavering love and support of my family. It was my parents that gave me the strong roots in the red soil of Prince Edward Island that keep me grounded - always knowing where home is, and who also gave me the wings that continue to take me to new heights and face new challenges. I was raised to, not only think, but believe that anything is possible. When no one plants the seed of doubt in your mind, you never think that something can’t be done, and ‘impossible’ doesn’t even cross it!

I must also thank those who supported me throughout this journey: The City of Summerside, the McKillops, Andrew Bryce, Garth Turtle, the UofT Occupational Therapy Department, Bruce Rainnie, Lennie Gallant, Brian Langerfield, and my fellow Islanders.

I am also extremely grateful for the talents of many people: Tuffy Latour, Quin Sekulich, Matt Hindle, Scott Livingston, Dave Campbell, Matt Nichol, Jeremy Graham, Natascha Wesch, Quentin Fyffe, Rory Mullin, Leslie Larson, and Carm.
